Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, installing the mobile applications, or accessing the SafarSetu group coordination services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable guidelines.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a group, organization, or family unit, you represent that you possess the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not download, register, or use SafarSetu.
2. Account Registration
To leverage our cooperative workspace tools, you must create a profile. You represent and warrant that:
- The profile details (name, phone number, credentials) provided are accurate.
- You will safeguard your access credentials to prevent unauthorized entry into your trips.
- You will notify SafarSetu support immediately if you suspect any compromise of your account safety.
3. Permissible Use
You agree not to use SafarSetu to perform the following activities:
- Violating any local, state, national, or international regulations.
- Falsifying budget records or expense splits in a fraudulent attempt to collect cash from other group participants.
- Uploading malware, corrupted files, or inappropriate content to the document vault folders.
- Scraping, framing, or bypassing security controls built into the application core layout.
4. Vault & Document Rules
Our PIN-Protected Vault allows members of a group trip to share reservation tickets, passes, and scans.
User Responsibility: You represent that you possess the necessary rights, authorization, and consent to share any document uploaded to the vault. SafarSetu does not pre-screen document uploads and is not liable for unauthorized sharing of third-party documents within your private trip workspace.
We reserve the right to remove any files that are flagged for safety violations or exceed your plan storage quotas.
5. Splitter & Financial Disclaimer
SafarSetu provides mathematical calculation tools to split travel costs, optimize transaction structures, and settle group balances.
Crucial Financial Notices
- No Payment Facilitation: SafarSetu is not a bank, payment processor, escrow agent, or financial institution. The Service does not capture, route, or clear real money transfers.
- Manual Settlements: All actual settlements, transfers, or cash pay-backs are made directly between travelers outside our platform.
- No Liability for Debts: SafarSetu is not responsible for unpaid balances, disputes regarding room quality splits, or failure of any trip member to pay back their debts.
6. Intellectual Property
The SafarSetu brand, custom logo assets, stylesheets, algorithms, database models, and source code are the exclusive intellectual property of SafarSetu Technologies Private Limited and our licensors.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to access the application for personal trip planning purposes. Any distribution, copying, decompiling, or reverse engineering of the Service is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
SafarSetu is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranty of any kind.
We do not guarantee that coordinates, addresses, or metadata parsed from public Instagram Reels or web links are 100% correct, up-to-date, or safe for travel. In no event shall SafarSetu be liable for any travel disruptions, booking cancellations, loss of documentation, physical injury, or financial loss arising from the use of coordinate inputs, itinerary plans, or Vault document sharing.
8. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, India.
